Association of Indonesian County Government (APKASI) as a forum for local government organizations held a National Working Meeting for the eighth time in Bali Nusa Dua Conventon Centre (BNDCC), Bali, on 21 to October 22, 2011.

The Congress, said Secretary General of APKASI, H. Aang Hamid Suganda whom also Regent of Kuningan, would be officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The President so far has expressed willingness to open this Congress,said Aang.

Aang said that the theme of the 8th Congress VIII is Strengthening Synergy Between Central and Regional Government In Supporting Master plan Economic Development Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia (MP3EI).

\\\"In addition to listening to the direction of the President, we will also present some resource persons from Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu such as Minister for Economic Affairs who is also Chief Executive MP3EI, Minister of Agriculture, Ministry of Forestry, and Minister of Finance,said Secretary APKAS. All activities of the Congress will be focus in the area of Nusa Dua Bali.

So far, about 70% of 399 districts in Indonesia as APKASI member, has given its confirmation and ready to come and enliven the annual event as a place of district government organizations.
